Model-by-model watch list
- 911 (996/997) and Boxster/Cayman (986/987). Many M96/M97 engines carry IMS-bearing risk. Ask us about inspection and preventive options. Air-oil separator failures, which show up as smoke on startup or a rough idle, are also common.
- Cayenne V8. Plastic coolant pipes in the engine valley on earlier models, plus cooling-system and air-suspension wear.
- Macan and Panamera. PDK and transfer-case fluid service, brake wear and electrical diagnosis.
- All models. Brakes, especially on heavier and faster cars. Some cars have ceramic composite (PCCB) brakes, which need specific handling.
Cars that sit vs. cars that drive
A Porsche that rarely moves needs time-based care: fresh oil, brake fluid every couple of years, a battery maintainer and tires replaced by age. A daily-driven Cayenne or Macan follows mileage. We'll set a plan that fits how you use the car.
Performance, with restraint
Performance upgrades and tuning are one of our featured services. On a Porsche, we start with the basics (cooling, ignition, brakes and tires) so added performance stays reliable.
