Service A, Service B and what your dash is telling you
Most modern Mercedes-Benz models use the Flexible Service System. The instrument cluster calls for Service A or Service B along with any extra items due. We'll perform the service your car is asking for and reset the reminder, so you're not guessing what "Service B due" covers.
Common Mercedes-Benz repairs
- Airmatic air suspension. A car or SUV that sits low after parking, a lit suspension warning or a compressor that runs constantly.
- Oil leaks. Valve cover, oil cooler and oil filter housing seals are common on several Mercedes engines.
- Transmission. Harsh or delayed shifts, or limp mode on the 7G- and 9G-TRONIC automatics. Many cases start with fluid condition and electronic adaptation.
- Batteries. Many models have a main battery and an auxiliary battery. A weak auxiliary battery can trigger warnings that look much worse than they are.
- Major engine work. When a repair needs the engine out, as with the SUV in the photo, it's a job we're set up to do.
AMG and Maybach
AMG twin-turbo V8s run hot and work hard. Coolant hoses, turbo oil and coolant lines, ignition parts and brakes need closer attention than a standard engine. Maybach owners expect quiet, perfect operation, so suspension, climate and electrical faults get careful, thorough diagnosis.
